My Journey

After graduating from Cal Poly – SLO with a degree in Mathematics, I was faced with the age old question – what do I want to do for the rest of my life? Although my background suggested a math-related field, I realized that I was happiest while either singing in the shower, dancing or playing the piano and was thus consistently drawn back to my more creative personality. Therefore, after much self-reflection and deliberation, I decided to change my stars and pursue a more creative career – whatever that may be. Fortunately, after hearing about Animation Mentor from a college friend, I was instantly convinced that this was how I was going to fulfill my dream. This was an environment where I would learn how to bring inanimate objects to life!!! =) I was enrolled in April 2007 and have since had the pleasure and incredible opportunity to learn and work with some of the most passionate people in the industry. I go forward still with that child-like sense of wonder and will continue to learn and grow as a CG Character Animator.

  1. I admire that you’re going to be involved something that you truly love. It’s hard to have that opportunity, nowadays. More power to you, bro 🙂
